AthleteAnd is a storytelling platform that highlights the passions and talents of athletes beyond the game. Launched by the NFL Players Association and powered by OneTeam Media, it helps athletes build personal brands and connect authentically with fans and partners.

What began as a hashtag celebrating off-field pursuits grew into a dynamic platform where athletes and brands collaborate to create meaningful stories. As creative lead, I guided the transformation of AthleteAnd, managing a talented team and all external resources.

My role included designing the logo, developing podcast topics and formats, directing video content, and creating on-site graphics. I also crafted business proposals and built a mobile content studio to connect athletes and brands at key events. Each initiative aimed to amplify athlete voices and foster authentic partnerships.

In partnership with EA’s Madden franchise, we brought the ATHLETEAND Gamer Lounge to life during Super Bowl week. Madden legend TDBarrett was at the heart of it all, hosting chill interviews with athletes about their love for gaming and how it connects them with fans and other players.

Things got competitive too—Barrett put the athletes through a Madden skills challenge, giving them a chance to face off against him and each other. The vibe was electric, with a packed lounge full of athletes waiting for their turn to jump in.

I handled the art direction, from designing and building out the lounge to shaping the content Barrett created with the athletes. It was all about blending gaming, sports, and community in a way that felt easy, fun, and real.
